Stefano Pirrone

My musical path behind a console began already in 1975 with the advent of private radio, years of experimentation and growth, with a focus on jazz, blues and songwriting and, at the same time, a passion for classical music . In the same years I gained my experience as a Dj in discos.
The love for tango comes in 2005, when I started to study its music and its ethnological and sociological genesis, trying to understand its styles and its evolution.
In 2010 I started dancing tango and this helped to increase my sensitivity in listening and understanding. Numerous trips abroad have allowed me to compare myself with other realities and better understand the work of the musicalizador.
From 2015 I started my study as a musicalizador and, from 2016, to musicalize in Italian milongas and foreign festivals.
My course of study and my continuous musical research allows me to range from traditional to contemporary orchestras, to arrive at contemporary and electronic tango.
