Friday, April 24th: Special evening at Voy al Tangoy!

Tango Para Dos Concert + Milonga.
The evening begins at 8:30 pm, by reservation, with the "tango Para Dos" concert featuring two guitarists, Emiliano Faryna from Buenos Aires and Pierluigi Ferrari from Milan, who will play some famous tango pieces, with a very rhythmic and engaging guitar arrangement. Also featured will be singer Mercedes Marieva, who will be a guest of her two guitarists with whom she performs live.

Emiliano Faryna - Guitarist, composer, and arranger, born in Buenos Aires in 1980, he began his musical studies at the age of ten at the J. P. Esnaola School of Music and privately with Maestro Marcelo Gutfraind. He has been a member of several Argentine musical groups, including those of Alejandro Brittes, Nicolás "colacho" Brizuela, Luisa Calcumil, Angel Pulice and Ruth De Vicenzo, Joao Gentil, Cesar Pavón, Jorge Tolosa, and Luis Santa Cruz, with whom he has recorded and toured in Argentina, South America, and Europe. He currently works as an arranger and session musician, is a member of Ventarrón y Varela and the Rudi Flores Trio, and leads his own musical project.

Pierluigi Ferrari - An eclectic guitarist who has explored various musical genres since his debut, with a particular love for Argentine tango. He began his career by establishing himself in jazz. He has collaborated with many artists, both on tour and in the studio, including Eugenio Finardi, Fabio Concato, Marco Ferradini, Kaballà, Laura Fedele, and Luca Jurman. In 2000, she released the Cd "tangueria" in a duo with guitarist Carlo Montoli, and in 2001, she collaborated with Daniel Pacitti on an Argentine version of the opera "carmen." In 2008, she released the solo Cd "bassamarea," dedicated to modern tango influences, and in 2018, the Cd "notturno." For several years, she has dedicated herself to Argentine music, playing in various groups with Manuela Ravaglioli, Annamaria Musajo, Sergio Lavia, Franco Finocchiaro, Martin Troncozo, Hernan Fassa, and Mercedes Marieva.

Mercedes Marieva- From the union of two great passions, writing and tango, singer Mercedes Marieva's original musical project was born: adapting some of the most famous tango lyrics into Italian, where the poetry of the original songs is interpreted in a minimalist, acoustic style. Alongside Pierluigi Ferrari and Samuele Francesco Mazza, with whom she performs as a trio, she will be joined on this project by several musicians from the Argentine music world: guitarist Emiliano Faryna, who, together with bandoneonist Hugo Satorre, has arranged in milonguero style some songs from Mercedes Marieva's debut album "tango Che Canti L'amore," released in 2023 and premiered live on Radio Popolare's "livepop" program.

The milonga will follow at 9:45 pm with Tdj Walter Sordelli on the decks.
