Stefano Pirrone

My musical journey behind the Dj console began back in 1975 with the rise of private radio stations and work as a nightclub Dj; years marked by experimentation and personal growth, characterized by a focus on jazz, blues, and singer-songwriter music, alongside a passion for classical music.
My love for tango emerged in 2005, when I began studying the music and its ethnological and sociological origins, seeking to understand its various styles and evolution.

I started dancing tango in 2010, an experience that deepened my sensitivity to the music and enhanced my understanding of it. Numerous trips abroad allowed me to engage with different scenes and gain a better understanding of the musicalizador's role.
I began my formal training as a musicalizador in 2015, and in 2016, I started curating music for milongas and festivals in Italy and abroad.
My ongoing studies and musical research allow me to span the full spectrum of tango music, ranging from traditional orchestras to contemporary ones.
